Oh-oh it itches! I want to draw and sketch and paint and sew and do all kinds of creative stuff but I have no time now...Since 1.5 years me and my BF are working really hard every week-end to fix the house we bought. It's the house my grandfather built, and I lived in it since I was 4 years old, when my dad bought it from his father. I moved out at age 17 but early 2007 I bought it from my father.
It's worse than actually building a house, because first we had to break everything down to the bear walls and haul out tonnes of crap. You see, the house was badly damaged in a fire - on a sad note, that fire claimed my brothers life - so it was all black and dirty and smelly and destroyed. But I just couldn't get it across my heart to let the house go, and so, since me & BF were looking to buy a house, we decided to go for it. Some people may find it icky to go live in the house where my brother died, but I'm ok with it, it makes me feel close to him.
So, were doing the last major works, then we'll move in and finish the details once we live there...it'll be a bit easier than to travel up and down the 50 km from our current (rental) house...
So, after we've moved and settled down a bit, I can finally kick into gear again with being creative and all - at least, I hope.
Hopefully I'll come up with some nice stuff, I'm quite excited to get back some constructive comments on how I can do things better. Probably first some tatt designs, I've been watching a lot of Miami Ink lately and my BF's brother just got his first tattoo gear, so maybe I can supply some designs, that would be so awesome !
